Emmerich Knoll 2017 Ried Loibenberg Smaragd Grüner Veltliner (Wachau)

Salty white miso paste, crushed peppercorns, yarrow and ripe Mirabelle unite into a fruity, fresh but savory nose. The concentrated palate tingles with zesty, ripe citrus peel while the Mirabelle notes are playful against the salty, pithy backdrop of yeast. There is concentration but also a sense of efforless ease that belies the depth and dimension. Drink 2025–2045. Anne Krebiehl MW
