Emmerich Knoll 2017 Ried Schütt Smaragd Riesling (Wachau)

Cellar Selection

A rather shy nose gives hints of Russet pear peel and lemon rind. This lemon zest note attains a candied edge, with a sense of depth on the palate that offers stone and bundled citrus. A pithy edge lends texture while the sense of pared lemon zest is the overriding notion on the dry, long, fresh finish. Drink 2025–2045. Anne Krebiehl MW
