Emmerich Knoll 2018 Ried Loibenberg Smaragd Grüner Veltliner (Wachau)

Notes of crushed yarrow and dandelion leaf seem to be melted in salty yeastiness that is subtle but savory on the nose. The palate also holds this aromatic, herbal-tinged richness and supplements it with apple and Mirabelle notes while the yeast lends texture and depth. This is concentrated but treads lightly on its feet nonetheless. Anne Krebiehl MW
