Ripe compact aromas of heady cassis and blackberry mixed with Christmas spices form the right opening for this old school heavyweight. A blend of 75% Malbec with Syrah and Cab Franc, this feels huge and almost syrupy, with acidic cut. Like the nose, this tastes of blackberry, cassis, mocha and fig. A stout finish has melting tannins. Drink through 2022.
