Epiphany 2014 Gypsy Red (Santa Barbara County)

Editors' Choice

This is among the best deals out of Santa Barbara County each vintage. A blend of 47% Grenache, 26% Mourvèdre, 15% Cinsault and 12% Counoise, it offers rose petal, anise, lilac and lavender on the nose. There's an elegant lightness on the palate, where vibrant wild raspberry, red plum and potpourri spice flavors shine. Matt Kettmann
