Marsanne is a difficult grape to feature alone and this low-alcohol bottling captures its spirit without going overly ripe. Tightly woven aromas of lime peel, melon flesh, citrus balm and crushed stone make for a focused nose. The palate is all about a stony texture, offering wet sidewalk, tangerine flesh and grapefruit-peel flavors. Matt Kettmann
