Compared with Erath's inexpensive, mass-produced Oregon Pinot, this limited-production cuvée seems sweet, as if dusted with powdered sugar. It's made in a forward, fruity style, and offers no challenges, but that grapey sweetness may hamper its food-matching possibilities. Paul Gregutt
