Éric & Jöel Durand 1999 Les Coteaux (Saint-Joseph)

Initially, this seems to be a somewhat rustic wine with animal aromas. But to taste, the fruit is ripe, powerful and finely structured, full of dark, black flavors. Put it away and let the cobwebs give the bottle character until the wine comes into its own. Roger Voss
