Once past the oak-driven aromas of coconut and mint you'll find a lusty bouquet full of cherry and cassis. The palate deals sweet and dried spices (cinnamon and clove) along with medium-strength but clean berry flavors. And the finish is toasty and warming. A very nice wine, but quite woody in its present state.
