Errazuriz 2007 Single Vineyard Syrah (Aconcagua Valley)

Opens with a good spread of herbs, perfume, black fruit and sauciness, while the palate is lively and healthy, with raspberry, plum and herbal shadings. Definitely not a shy wine, but not overpowering either. Finishes with class, complexity and notes of herbs and menthol. Drink now through 2012. Michael Schachner
