Although this blend smells a bit loamy and earthy, there's plum, cherry and cinnamon aromas that are frontal in their attack. The palate is serious and tight, with medium-strength tannins and flavors of baked berry, spice and coffee. On the finish, pepper and olive notes enter the frame. Drink now–2017.
