92pointsEvesham Wood 2017 Temperance Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir (Eola-Amity Hills)

Just a few barrels were made from a block at the top of the vineyard, planted in 1982 and aged in neutral oak. Flavors seem lightly ripened and herbal, with green tobacco highlights that penetrate deeply. The fruit is not the main event here, but the detail and length are impressive. Paul Gregutt
