Evidence 2017 Bruadair Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon (Mount Veeder)

Cellar Selection

Picked on October 2, 2017—just about a week before the wildfires in the area—this comes from a site at 1,600-feet in elevation. Thick in grippy tannin, it is cofermented with 8% Malbec and aged 20 months in 80% new French oak. Dried herb, toast and tangy red currant combine across a complex palate that should age with ease; enjoy best from 2027–2035. Virginie Boone
