Failla 2006 Peay Vineyard Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast)

Marked by crisp, coastal acidity, this Pinot has a lightly silky texture, but the flavors are quite concentrated. Shows strawberry jam, red cherry tart and dusty spice flavors, an elegant wine of clarity and distinction. Not really an ager, but will hold for a good six years.
