Faith Hope & Charity 2019 La Crescent (Oregon)

La Crescent is an American hybrid grape developed in the late 1980s at the University of Minnesota's Horticultural Research Center. Popular in the Midwest but unique in the Northwest, it produces a high acid, low alcohol wine with attractive honey and floral characteristics. The palate brings in Meyer lemon, bee pollen, dried apricot and golden apple flavors. This is a fascinating addition to the Oregon wine industry. Paul Gregutt
