Famiglia Anselma 2016 Bussia Vigna Pianpolvere (Barolo)

Cellar Selection

Aromas of camphor, new leather, truffle, rose and a whiff of sandalwood form the fragrant nose of this fantastic wine. The aromas follow over to the full-bodied, firmly structured palate along with crushed raspberry, Morello cherry, tobacco and licorice. It closes on a note of rusty iron while tight, fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity provide balance and an ageworthy structure. Drink 2026–2046. Kerin O’Keefe
