Among the new crop of Patagonian Malbecs, this wine shows a sly style. It's not that full of bells and whistles but it does offer plenty of ripe red fruit such as cassis, cherry and strawberry. Blended in are touches of tobacco and leather. Goes down smooth and easy; registers more lush and ripe than anything. Imported by S&F Trading Company. Michael Schachner
