Familia Schroeder 2005 Saurus Patagonia Cabernet Sauvignon (Neuquén)

Cabernet may always struggle to achieve ripeness in Patagonia, but Schroeder is getting pretty decent plum and blackberry character out of this wine. The mouthfeel, however, runs kind of hard and sheer. May get better in future vintages. Michael Schachner
