Famille Carabello-Baum 2018 Grand Cru (Corton)

Smoke, red cherry and floral overtones of peony unite shyly on this wine's tender nose. The fruit is more rounded but pristine on the bright palate, where a superfine structure raises that cherry freshness ever higher. It's graceful yet concentrated with power. Cherry rings with Amarena notions all along the finish. Anne Krebiehl MW
