Ferraton Père et Fils 2017 Lieu-Dit Paradis (Saint-Joseph)

Sun-scorched bramble and wild raspberries are etched by shards of dark chocolate and graphite in this rich, slightly ruddy expression of Saint-Joseph. It's a sultry, satiny sip drenched in sunny berry and cherry flavors and a finish coated by fine, cocoa powder tannins. Ready now but should drink well through 2027. Anna Lee C. Iijima
