Only a wise old company like Fetzer, with vast access to good vineyards and decades of winemaking experience, could produce such a nice Sauvignon Blanc in such huge quantities. The wine is dry and crisp, with rewarding flavors of green apples, pink grapefruits and figs. It tastes smoky and full of vanilla, even though it has no oak.
