Fiddletown Cellars 2011 Petite Sirah (Amador County)

With a handful of Barbera blended in, Fiddletown's Petite Sirah is intense in aromas of baked blackberry and blueberry fruit, akin to a cobbler, soft, the tannins well-integrated. Its finish curtailed mid-stream, it offers a pleasant layer of licorice throughout. Virginie Boone
