A serious, smoky Syrah with herbal and floral nuances, beautifully melded to rich, almost fat varietal fruit. As it breathes there is spicy black pepper and the flavor of roasted meat, all framed by a palate-cleansing lick of tart acid, and a light touch with the oak. Seductive today but measured for medium-term aging.
