Grapes for this pretty Merlot come from the estate's historic vineyards in the village of Oslavia. Averaging 70 years old in age, these low-yielding vines produce a wine of concentration, depth and deliciousness. This wine opens with ripe and juicy black plums, violets and a touch of baking spice. The palate is mouthfilling with notes of cassis, black pepper, laurel leaf and turned earth. Fine tannins give the wine stability and balance, with enough acidity to match the richness of fruit.
