Another fine vintage for this Wahluke Slope vineyard. A sophisticated and muscular Cabernet Franc, with smooth and smoky flavors of mixed blackberries and black currants. The blend is 88% Cab Franc, 6% Syrah, 4% Merlot and 2% Cab Sauvignon, and it opens into a pretty nose with sweet grain and clover accents, runs into ripe, powerful fruit, and finishes with a kiss of clove.
