Significantly toasted and dry, the opposite of a fruitball. Heavy oak and not much fruit is the theme throughout, from the buttery, woody palate all the way through the blanched, spicy finish. Those desperate for fruit will find some banana, pear and apple notes beneath the barrel-based veneer. Imported by Jorge Ordoñez/Fine Estates from Spain.
