In a broiling year like 2003, Clavis is shockingly tart, lean and wickedly acidic. The blend is a strange mix of Garnacha, Cabernet, Nebbiolo and Sangiovese, and the end result is razor thin and sheer. Not even remotely recommended at this high price.
