One of a growing number of mass-market Oregon Pinots under $20, this offers acceptable varietal character in a simple, blocky, straight-ahead style. Cherry fruit and slightly bitter herbs tell the tale, with no new oak. There's a hint of burnt rubber and a final impression of vanilla as it trails away. Paul Gregutt
