Fitz Roy 2017 Carmenère (Colchagua Costa)

Powdery red-fruit aromas are nondistinct and soapy. A tight palate is linear and offers no give, complexity or secondary layers. Simple black-plum flavors come with a dash of cinnamon. The wine is sturdy on a finish with no depth and almost no varietal-based character. Michael Schachner
