This is turning out to be the top cuvée, at least in recent vintages. Focused and ripe black cherry fruit comes with a broad streak of coffee. It takes a deep dive into a flavor cave that lingers into a long, clean finish. The wine spent a year in 45% new oak and should hold well in the cellar through 2027. Paul Gregutt
