Flâneur 2019 Espirit de Corps Pinot Noir (Ribbon Ridge)

Editors' Choice

All the fruit for this wine comes from Flanerie Vineyard. Aged in 20% new French oak, it shows some reduction, causing a bit of distraction. Beneath that are notes of plum, cinnamon, bittersweet chocolate and potpourri. The flavors are deft and sophisticated, backed by lightly grainy tannins. There's a lot of freshness. It's got plenty of room to grow. Sean P. Sullivan
