Flâneur 2019 La Belle Promenade Vineyard Pinot Noir (Chehalem Mountains)

Editors' Choice

Coming from a vineyard on Jory and fractured basalt soils, this wine shows some reduction immedietly, with notes of nori and gravel. Beyond that are potpourri, strawberry, manure, spice and cherry. Full-bodied, lush, juicy-feeling flavors follow, with floral notes throughout. It's a knee buckler. Give it additional time in the bottle or decant. Sean P. Sullivan
