Just released prior to this tasting, it was still quite tight, with a hard shell around the black fruits. Dried herbs and sweet grain highlights add complexity, and the mix of vineyards (Pepper Bridge, Klipsun, and Alder Ridge) brings the best characteristics of three different AVAs into play.
