Forgeron 2016 Chardonnay (Columbia Valley (WA))

Editors' Choice

Fruit for this wine comes from the Yakima Valley (50%), Wahluke Slope (26%), Columbia Gorge (21%) and Walla Walla Valley (3%). Aromas of toast, clarified butter, lemon curd, candy corn, summer squash and spice are followed by creamy, well-balanced fruit flavors. A warm finish caps it off. It's a lot of wine for the money.
