Southern Oregon red wines don't attain the richness of either northern California or Washington state efforts, but they have their own charms. This wine, soft and scented with cranberries, vanilla and eucalyptus, offers pleasing berry/plum-fruit, plenty of firm acid, and a hard, tannic finish. —P.G.
