Foris 2009 Maple Ranch Pinot Noir (Rogue Valley)

Essentially the winery reserve, this retains the elegant, rather austere house style, but does show more concentration than the regular Rogue Valley bottling. Pale cherry and raspberry fruit is backed with stiff tannins, laced with a vein of graphite and a hint of bark. Paul Gregutt
