Foris 2017 Tempranillo (Rogue Valley)

As in past vintages, this is blended with 9% Malbec and aged in mostly neutral oak. Light red fruits principally taste like red currants, with a hint of tart pie cherries. Aging 18 months in a percentage of once-filled barrels adds a gentle chocolate note as it fades. Paul Gregutt
