Fortuity 2017 Viognier (Yakima Valley)

This is the inaugural release of this wine from this newcomer. Appealing aromas of peach, lime and minerality lead to sleek, dry, tart fruit flavors. It's a strong start that eschews the often ponderous route this variety can take, choosing instead deftness. Sean P. Sullivan
