Four Sisters 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon (Central Victoria)

For those who prefer their reds big and tannin-driven, this isn't for you. In fact, it's positively dainty by Cab standards. Aromas are heady and leafy, with notes of fresh black currant, licorice, menthol, tar and tobacco. The palate is full of tart fruit, with a gentle tug of herbal, savory tannins and slightly forced acidity. The texture is mouth coating but far from rich, with a sweet note at the finish.
