This is a high solids, unmistakably Aussie Chardonnay with a full-throttle nose of salted nuts, oyster shell and oak spice. The fruit fills in the aroma gaps with characters like grapefruit, peach and orange zest. The mouthfeel is medium weighted, with lovely texture, ripe (if a little overly plump) stone and citrus fruit and an oak-tinged finish. Christina Pickard
