This is a rich, buttery Chardonnay from Seneca Lake. Notes of ripe peach, pineapple and melon are underpinned by buttered toast and oak. The palate is rich and creamy. It could use more fruit in the mouth to balance the lactose and oak characters, but it's a solid, varietal wine nonetheless. Christina Pickard
