Francis Darroze 1974 Domaine de Coquillon Bas Armagnac

The vibrant aromas offers spicy/bakery odors of banana bread, baking spices, fruit stone, old oak, worn leather and dates. The palate entry finds flavors of nut paste and butter sautéed almonds; the midpalate is buttery, bacon fat-like and meaty. The finish shows budding rancio, soft cheese and maple. P.P.
