Francis Darroze 1987 Domaine Aux Ducs Bas Armagnac

The early aroma displays peppery spice and celery; aeration adds fiber-like scents of flax or nylon; an odd kind of synthetic bouquet. The spirit is aggressive in the palate entry; vigorous tastes of light caramel, unsalted butter and oak resin rule in unquestioned authority. Too volatile, ungainly and immature. P.P.
