François Lurton 2012 Hacienda Araucano Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon (Colchagua Valley)

Dry, dusty plum and apple skin aromas hold steady. This feels rubbery and tastes lightly candied, with generic berry, vanilla and toasted flavors emerging. A raw and tannic finish says this needs something like pizza or flank steak to help it along. Michael Schachner
