This wine, from Frankland Estate's renowned Isolation Ridge, is a wonderful example of the greatness that cool-climate Great Southern Shiraz can achieve. Medium bodied and elegant, this enchanting shows red cherry, raspberry, florals, cracked pepper and herbs, with an orange peel tang and a hint of meat and earth in the background. The palate is full of crunchy red fruit, florals and dusty, fine-grained tannins that lead to a long, pepper finish. Drink now–2027.
