Shiraz from the cool climes of the Great Southern region of Western Australia is a far cry from their rich, sunshine-infused South Aussie counterparts. Frankland Estate is one of the leaders of this more restrained, medium-bodied style. Their estate Shiraz is bursting with ripe blue fruit, vanilla, smoky cedar and baking spices. The palate is silky and elegant, with juicy fruit and savory tannins.
