Isolation Ridge has long been the darling single-vineyard wine of the Frankland River subregion of Great Southern, and the 2016 succeeds in upholding this reputation. Lemon curd, apple and delicate florals are wreathed in a prickly palate that comes with a lick of creamy weightiness and plenty of acidity. A highly mineral, wet-stone finish is the cherry on top. Drink now–2032.
