Franz Keller 2015 Eichberg Oberrotweil GG Pinot Noir (Baden)

Cellar Selection

Notes of dark toast, roasted chestnut and spice are prominent but don't obscure the core of concentrated black-cherry and plum flavors in this stately Pinot Noir. It's medium bodied yet luscious and mouthfilling, balanced by crisp red-currant acidity and zesty mineral tones. It's a young wine that needs some time to integrate and develop. Consider opening from 2020–2035. Anna Lee C. Iijima
