Frazier 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley)

You'll want to stash this young Cab away for a while because it's too closed and tannic now for enjoyment. But it has a very rich, concentrated core of cassis flavor and is dry and balanced in acidity. Should negotiate the next 6–8 years easily, and maybe longer.

Ok. I’m gonna start off by saying we waited patiently for 14 years, but last night it was....time. Had a beautiful dinner and decided tonight was THE night. To say the least, it was delicious! Actually, it was beyond that, words don’t give it justice! I’m still floating in the after glow of it. If you have the luxury of still picking this gem up, do it! But, don’t open now obviously , let her age. And we actually had this bottle in a wine fridge that failed last year. We didn’t know what to expect, but even with it not staying 55, it was Out. Of. This. World. Rating this a mere 91, in my opinion, was a under rating for sure!
