In an ode to Asti, this sweet bubbly is racy, with pine and flower aromas. But the palate is overtly sweet, and probably only the biggest sugar fiends will find it to their liking. In many ways it tastes like sweet German Riesling. Very odd and lacking harmony. —M.S.
